It comes in a handmade paper case that has a flower/leaf collage as a cover, with a booklet, also handmade and handwritten. Both come in an organza bag and each one is unique!
I made it this way , by just using my hands, because I wanted this to feel like you get a letter in the mail from someone you know, someone who's put his time, effort and love into making something just for you. Also, I wanted it to have like a childlike romantic vibe, because I truly believe in finding joy in simple things in our surroundings and being playful, it helps a lot in these trying times.
I know the flowers on the cover will at some point just wither and die but that's life and it's okay. (When that happens I suggest you use it as a reminder and go buy yourself some flowers, it will probably make u feel really good-unless you're allergic-it's nice to be around pretty things. )

I started making this album last November and finished it a few days ago.
It is a collection of experiences, thoughts, feelings from the past year, translated into sounds, composition and processing.
Technically but also in essence, I put all the knowledge I have acquired so far.
There are many different and often contradictory elements featured, on the one hand noise and on the other calmness
and the need for its prevalence — and the wonderfully ironic thing here is how often this calmness prevails with the help of noise.
I named this album '' in order to flourish '' because for me it includes everything I heard, saw, thought, felt and learned
used either consciously or not, so that I will ''bloom'' mentally, spiritually and physically.
The conditions under which this material was collected and subsequently synthesized and processed were a bit extraordinary.
There was a lot of adversity these past few months and one reason was that I started making it at the end of the first month of the lockdown and finished it before it was even over.
It was a creative outlet for me and a goal that helped me get out of bed in the morning looking forward to my day.
In this album there are many pieces of me as I explained, tracks from places I visited, for example some samples from field recordings were recorded away from the city and my usual daily life in an attempt to protect myself from anything that hurt, pressured, frightened me.
That is why you can find sounds of the sea, birds chirping, voices of children, mostly processed.
Other samples I used were recordings from inside the house, whenever I felt it was hard for me to stay in, noises that woke me up in the morning and spoiled my mood and yet I wanted to turn them into something of my own, into something beautiful. Finally, the piano samples are my own compositions, improvised and simple, mainly made in moments of loneliness or stress.
So the path to flowering is a set of so many things that are around us and inside us and often we do not even realize them sometimes. It's the elements of nature, it is the flowers and the animals that make us appreciate anything beyond us, it is the people who no matter if we are apart, they always remain within us and can be found in everything we do.
In order to flourish, we learn, we plant, we take care, we create.
Until we bloom, we will create. By whatever means, manner and with whatever stimuli we have in our hands and in our hearts.

Το άλμπουμ αυτό ξεκίνησα να το φτιάχνω τον Νοέμβριο του 20 και τελειοποιήθηκε τον Φεβρουάριο του 21.
Πρόκειται για μια συλλογή εμπειριων, σκεψεων, συναισθηματων απο την περασμενη χρονια, μεταφρασμένη σε ηχους, στη συνθεση τους και την επεξεργασια τους.
Τεχνικα αλλα και στην ουσια του, εβαλα ολη τη γνωση που εχω αποκτησει ως τωρα.
Προκειται για πολλα διαφορετικα και πολλες φορες αντιφατικα μεταξυ τους στοιχεια, απο τη μια ο θορυβος απο εξω κι απο μεσα κι απο την αλλη η ηρεμια
και η αναγκη της επικρατησης της-και το υπεροχα ειρωνικο εδω ειναι το πως συχνα αυτη η ηρεμια επικρατει με τη βοηθεια του (ηχητικου) θορυβου.
Ονομασα αυτο το αλμπουμ ''in order to flourish'' διοτι για μενα περιλαμβανει ολα αυτα που ακουσα, αυτα που ειδα, αυτα που σκεφτηκα, αυτα που ενιωσα κι αυτα που εμαθα
τα οποια χρησιμοποιω συνειδητα και μη για να οδηγηθω στην ''ανθοφορια'' του μεσα μου.
Οι συνθηκες υπο τις οποιες συγκεντρωθηκε αυτο το υλικο και που μετεπειτα εγινε η συνθεση και η επεξεργασια του
ηταν σε μεγαλο βαθμο αντιξοες κι ενας λογος ηταν το οτι ξεκινησα να το φτιαχνω στα τελη του πρωτου μηνα του lockdown και το τελειωσα πριν ακομα ληξει.
Αποτελεσε για μενα μια δημιουργικη διεξοδο κι εναν στοχο που με βοηθησε να σηκωνομαι το πρωι απο το κρεβατι ανυπομονωντας για την ημερα μου.
Μεσα σε αυτο το αλμπουμ υπαρχουν πολλα κομματια μου οπως εξηγησα, κομματια απο μερη που επισκεφτηκα αφου καποια samples απο field recordings ηχογραφηθηκαν
στις αποδρασεις απο την καθημερινοτητα μου στη φυση και στην προσπαθεια μου να προστατευσω τον εαυτο μου απο οτιδηποτε τον πληγωνε, τον πιεζε, τον τρομαζε,
γι'αυτο και ακουγονται ηχοι απο τη θαλασσα, απο πουλια, απο τζιτζικια, απο παιδια, άλλες φορες καθαρα άλλες επεξεργασμενα.
Άλλα samples που χρησιμοποιησα ηταν ηχογραφησεις απο μεσα απο το σπιτι, όποτε το ενιωθα να με 'πλακωνει', απο θορυβους που με ξυπνουσαν το πρωι και μου χαλουσαν τη διαθεση
κι ηθελα ομως να τους μετατρεψω σε κατι δικο μου, σε κατι ομορφο. Τέλος, τα samples με πιανο ειναι δικες μου συνθεσεις, αυτοσχεδιαστικες και απλές, κυριως φτιαγμενες
σε στιγμες μοναξιας ή πιεσης.
Η πορεια προς την ανθοφορια λοιπον ειναι ενα συνολο απο τοσα πολλα πραγματα που ειναι γυρω μας και μεσα μας και συχνα δεν τα αντιλαμβανομαστε καν κι αλλοτε
μας 'τρυπανε' το κεφαλι. Ειναι τα στοιχεια της φυσης, ειναι τα λουλουδια και τα ζωα που μας κανουν να εκτιμαμε οτιδηποτε περα απο εμας, ειναι οι ανθρωποι που ειτε
ειναι στη ζωη μας ειτε οχι, παραμενουν παντα μεσα μας και περπατουν, ειτε κυριολεκτικα ειτε μεταφορικα, μαζι μας σε οτι κανουμε και προς οπου βαδιζουμε.
Για να ανθισουμε λοιπον, μαθαινουμε, φυτευουμε, φροντιζουμε, δημιουργουμε.
Μεχρι να ανθισουμε, θα δημιουργουμε. Με όποιο μέσο, τροπο και με οσα ερεθισματα εχουμε στα χερια μας και στην καρδια μας.
Θα κυκλοφορησει σε cdr με χειροποιητη θηκη και booklet στις 4/4 .
